It can be wonderful at times , and then there's time you wonder what were you thinking (smile).
Really, its a experience that lasts a life time, as you see them grow up to be their own person its neat, to see them grow into that person and remember that they were a small tiny person.its amazing . To know that when you pass away there are people who will carry on your heritage.

When I decided to become pregnant, it was the best decision that I have ever made.
Having my son in my life is a blessing. It's amazing to watch him grow and learn and become a contributing member of society. He is now twelve years old, and it just doesn't seem possible. In only six years, which is half the time he has been alive, he will be an adult.
It is difficult to comprehend.
The time truly does fly by.
I feel wonderful being a parent. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Its the hardest job I've ever had, but its also the best job I've ever had. It takes all your money, time, energy & patience. Its always 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, you don't get days off, or even a few hours off most of the time. But I've never loved anyone as much as I love my kids, its a completely differant kind of love than I've ever felt before. I would do anything for my kids, even die, I wouldn't even have to think about it. It totally changes everything about your life. I think having my kids is the best decisions I've ever made. I have no regrets. I have 2 daughters, they are 16 yrs & 14 yrs old.

Being a mother is the best thing that ever happened to me. It's wonderful to feel needed and loved unconditionally no matter how I feel about myself. Being a mother has made me strong and brave. Everything is definitely not always peaches and cream, but I learn more as time goes by and God has kept my family happy.

Let me enlighten you.
If you are going to have kids and expect any rewards or praise your in the wrong line of work. when the rewards come they are few and far between.
Having a child can be wonderful but understand that it is no easy job and takes a lot of effort and heartache too.
Think about it a lot.

Often when your child is young, it feels great.
But unfortunately, later in life, the kids give you way too many problems, and the responsibility is so high. Every single child you have costs a fortune, and not only that, but so often they cause you so much grief in life.
Make sure you ready for the responsibility before you have a child.

It is a scary responsibility 24/7. The rewards outweigh the negitives when all is said and done and they turn out to be fine adults.

It's a learning experience for both of you. There will be good days and bad ones. So take all of them and grow with them in the process. Right now it feels really good because both of mine are on their own. But while raising them it was rough on all of us. There's no book on how to raise your particular child.

tiring, and there are some days you wonder why you didn't get your tubes tied sooner, but it's one of the most amazing thing you can go thru. You really do learn to live for your kids.
