I don't understand everyone is giving advise about marriage and repeating vows, justifying that if you took the vows you are selfish for your feelings changing. If you believe in God you would do the right thing and deal with being unhappy unless he beats you etc..etc...
Do any of you know that Being legally married is not what God talked about..How many of you are still with the one that took your virginaty? That is Gods definition of marriage. Once you share your self emotionally and physically he/she is your life mate. Read the bible again people. So instead of calling everyone selfish b/c they want out of a marriage or having confusing feelings before you give such cruel advise about how selfish and imature that is maybe you should know the true meaning of marriage. (in gods eyes)
So with that being said what makes us think that after being premiscuious and finding love that you think you want for the rest of your life how do we really know?

We dont and never will know the future for very good reason. We couldnt handle it. Im not sure where you got the part of being selfish wanting out of a marriage. In Gods eyes, marriage is a union between a man and a woman where in mans law it is called a marriage;a legal union between 1 woman and 1 man. True, we have made it way to easy to get married and then just divorce for any ole reason we choose. We were never promised a life with a happily ever after but then we were never told we would live a life of misery either. To opt for getting out of a marriage is not selfish, but many maybe chickening out instead of fighting for what God destined for us or it may be due to immaturity for the younger ones. Whatever the reason, most should really look at the real reasons they are getting married in the first place before getting into a doomed relationship, in other words, stop the problem before there is one. We all know damn well that todays society is getting farther and farther away from what God has planned for it, so why follow his word. This is probably why we are in the trouble we re in today. But either way we must determine somehow if a divorce is the final solution for a certain marriage instead of too easily giving out divorces or have some kind of test or something to determine if a couple about to enter marriage are right for each other, so forget all the selfish stuff and reasons why, we are a product of our own environment. Have a fantastic new year

Because when it is legal itis binding as well. A marriage that isn't legal has nothing to fall back on. Neither party can sue for divorce because there is nothing legal keeping them together to begin with. The TRUE meaning of marriage has nothing to do with religion at all. It began before relgion was ever thought of by the ancients. Fathers would trade their daughters into marriage so they would not have to "waste" food and clothing on the female children of the family and their son's would get more. Marrage has ALWAYS been a civil union. It wasn't until the Christians came along wanting to force the other relgions to convert that it became a relgious rite. Keep in mind that maybe YOU beleive in the Christian based "god" but not everyone does. That is WHY marriage should be legal. In a non legal marriage if a man purchases a home he can tell the woman to leave anytime he wants whether she has children or not, and the woman will have to leave or be escorted out. It doesn't matter whether she and her children don't have any place to go. In a marriage she will get at least HALF of all of the marital assets no matter who's name they are in and the tables CAN be reversed. If a woman has a house she can tell a man who isn't her LEGAL spouse to leave at anytime, and he will have to leave. Doesn't matter he will be homeless. With or without religion I'd prefer to have my butt covered in the event of a split between me and my partner and I would like to know my child had a safe place to sleep at night rather than being on the streets. Maybe you don't care.

Read the bible? Yeah, if I want to follow the rules of the first century. This is 2007. People are different. Marriages are legal agreements, and the law is what separates us from anarchy. Marriages are also religious agreement, a covenant between yourself, your partner, and God. And if I remember correctly the church does not honor a marriage betweeen two people just because they had sex.

Please. Grow up, girl.

As a matter of fact I am still with the person that took my virginity and it has nothing to do with God. People are in titled to believe in what they chose. A person shouldn't be in any relationship if there heart is not in it. Life is to short and everything happens for a reason.

When you take a man's last name , in the eyes of the law you are considered one, this is what marriage is all about. This mean you two are responsible for each others property and actions.

I had one of my ribs removed a couple of years ago.
Even though it's been incubated for almost 3 1/2 years, it has yet to grow into a woman. What am I doing wrong?
Should I put an apple into the incubation chamber?
