What is the gestation time for snails, after they mate? I think ours did.

I have snails, and it seems that eggs were laid within a few days of mating. I don't remember how long it takes for the eggs to hatch...a week or two I would guess.
If you look around your tank, you will see clear "jelly" looking stuff with white dots...that is the egg sack. If you don't want more snails, just remove the "Jelly" and wash it down the sink.

About a week or two depending on the temp of the water. You know if they are going to have babies if there is a gelatin like sack with little seed looking things inside it, anywhere on the decor in the aquarium or on the glass. Hope this helps!!!

depends on the speceis. some die right away.
