Try a dusty rose color if you have brown hair. With blonde hair, pink shades look best and with red hair an almost maroon color but a lighter shade. And one tip that will really get away from looking like candyland, is get a really nice blush brush. This way it blends it into your skin really well without leaving a big and harsh line on your cheekbones. Oh yeah! Apply the blush in the hollows of your cheekbones and to the apples for a nice rosy look. For like a date or whatever add a shimmery three shades lighter blush to the top of your cheekbones, blend it really well! Good Luck!

Benefit's Dandelion Blush is a great pink. It's really light so it's not too overwhelming on pale skin (like me). Their Georgia Peach is nice, too, but I've found it has such little pigment that it really doesn't even show up. Sometimes I'll use it as an all over face powder or to set a cream blush. Cargo's Light Bronzer is great - not too much color & not too orangey. And Julie Hewett's Cheekies (fantastic cream blushes) are great. They blend well & the colors are beautiful. Peachie looks great on everybody. Good luck.

A fair peach similar to your skin tone but just a hint of colour. Since you dont want to look like youre from candyland ( :] ) then you should stay away from anything really bright and very pink. So peach would look the best and would flatter your fair skin while looking natural.

if you want a colored blush go with the lightest pink you can find...I'm just like you in that respect and i worship MAC "Practical Pink", the lightest shade they got! If you want to add some color to your face, apply a light, gold or shimmery brown bronzer on your hairline, apples of your cheeks, jawbone and a bit on your nose. Be careful though of using too much or you may look dirty. A great wintertime blush would be a mousse shimmer like maybelline or a dust powder.

I had this problem too so I started using bronzer by Cover girl closer to a brownish shade! You don't have to use very much and it blends in nicely. And you don't look like some candy fool! ha ha ha...It just makes you look like you have some color to your face and your not so pale!! I love it!!!!

don't get anything with a really orange undertone. keep it simple and light, like ice pink or baby pink or some form of peach..and don't apply it too heavily...it should look like a natural rosy color..
