No because the PS3 isn't really for the casual gamer. It's 600 bucks. Do you want to spend 600 bucks on a system that you're only going to play once in a while? That's like buying a HD-DVD player when you only watch 1 or 2 movies a month. Big waste of money if you're not going to use it on a regular basis.

I'd wait on a ps3 until at least they make more the price does down or you can acutally buy one in a store...by then maybe they'll have the bugs fixed also cause every new system always has some bugs to be worked out at first.

Buying a high-end gaming system that has not worked out the usual bugs that come with a "new-system release" should not act as a relief from occasional boredom...use your computer to download and play a variety of games to quell your boredom...

PS2 is mainly the samething. I would wait after Christmas is over the prices should go down.

i say save the money and play with your kitten they are just as much fun as a game and a whole lot cheaper
