He lives with his girlfriend out of state. I never had too many friends in HS, now that I am older, a few people from highschool have contacted me to reconnect. Actually he was one of the few actual friends I had, we just lost contact6 out of school. He called me about 3 months ago, then last month he got a job out of state. How often is enough? I don't want to annoy or bother him, since he is really busy.

Also, i know another guy, but he is married. I only communicate with him when he comes to visit his parents. We used to talk a lot at school, but now he is married, so I know heis busy wit her. A phone call would be nice. I am thinking of calling him even though he never calls me and wishing him a Merrry Christmas.

I'd call no more than once a month. If your friend has e-mail, drop him a line more often. I think an e-mail a couple of times a month will help keep you both up to date with each other. The benefit of e-mail over calling - cheaper and he can get back to you at his own convenience. Less chance of being annoying.

my mom has this problem. her friend lives in chicago and we live in wisconsin. they call eachother about once every two weeks so the bill doesnt go up and they still keep up with eachother.

he's a chum, no longer a bf hon.. no longer even a date and friends frequently do no longer communicate on telephone daily :) he cares approximately you. enable leave it at that and don't screw issues up ;)

start by touching base once a month or once every couple of months...if that is too often, you both will figure it out...good luck...don't lose touch with your friends...
