I have read all your answers but I'm still a little confused on the whole Chalke replacing whatever that other girl was, can you make things a little clearer?

Sarah Chalke has played the character of Elliot since the first episode of Scrubs, but in the show, she decides she doesnt want to be pushover anymore and wants to become a stronger person, so her character kind of changes, you can see this in the episode My Own Amercain Girl, the first episode of season 3. I hope that helps

Sarah Chalke has played Elliot Reed since the Show premiered, perhaps the pilot was aired with a different actress, but alot of times pilot episodes are reshot as first episodes with the new cast members.
The confusion is that Chalke joined the cast of Roseanne replacing another actress as Becky, twice. As I understand, the first actress left to pursue college and Chalke replaced her. and then the first Actress returned for a season and decided that she didn't want to act anymore, so she left and Chalke replaced her again. Both times she assumed the role, and the time the first actress returned, the episodes were written with little winks at the fans, like a comment about the Darrens in bewitched, and the rest of the casty liking the first guy, but Becky prefering the second Darren. and when the first actress returned everyone kept asking her where she had been.
So again, their has been no other Elliot Reed, but the actress was Becky #2 and #4 on Roseanne

she was the original blond daughter on Rosanne, and was replaced by Sarah Chalke towards the end of the series. Sarah Chalke has yet once again replaced her in a new series. I'm just kidding. Sarah Chalke has always played Elliot Reed on Scrubs. She has just changed her hair style and makeup.

Never noticed. Got tired of all the same problems, it got boring , I don't even watch the re-runs anymore.
