We have split red wine on the antique white lacy tablecloth that we borrowed from my hubs mother. Have tried white wine, salt, soaking in bio-tex. Stain is now bluish instead of deep red. What else can we do? Please help!

Get yourself some spray & wash... the new kind that has 2 bottles together in a plastic wrap. This stuff is amazing! It removes most wine stains and practically anything else, especially blood.

Good luck.... maybe white wine is better when using a borrowed antique....

White wine applied straight away is the answer. NOT salt, that helps keep stains in!

However, depending on what country you are in? I know that VANISH purchased in England works pretty well. Good luck!

Salt was what you should have done first, then you'd have no problem. Try getting some Mother's Little Miracle. If you can't find that, send it out to be cleaned TOMORROW. This happened to us and the stain came out. Good luck!

Bleach pens are used in the hair salon I attend. They have white dividers between the chairs and dark hair color tends to get on them. The owner bleaches out the stain with a bleach pen.
