Israel is the only Jewish state in the whole world. The Arabs have 22 states. The Arabs are not wiling to accept a Jewish state in their midst.

Israel thought that by leaving Gaza entirely in August 2005, that the Arabs would get their act together and develop their economy. Instead, the Arab have seen fit to launch thousands of missiles at Israel's civilian population, intending to kill as many citizens as possible.

Israel, on the other hand, is trying to live in peace. When they do attack, it is with the clear objective of silencing the Arab terrorists. By international law, Israel is totally justified in its quest to protect its citizens. The Arabs are in total violation of international law by unprovoked attacking of innocent civilians in Israel.

The Palestinian Arabs could have had a state already, if they only behaved like civilized human beings. But they have proven time and again that they are not ready to behave, and so the Arabs will have to exist with "only" 22 states.

As long as the Arabs refuse to accept a Jewish state in the Middle East, the conflict will remain unresolved. Israel must completely and totally defeat the Arabs, so that a peace treaty can be signed and enforced.

Nope. You have completely misunderstood the question you have quoted. Essentially what that guy is saying is his version of the answer you gave him. Don't mess with us or you'll come to harm - something that applies to Arab countries just as much as it applies to the US. Or do you believe only the US has the right to further interests? Do you believe all Muslims are terrorists, and all those who make friends with any Muslim support terrorists? If so you are incredibly ignorant. There ARE extremists who want the West to be subjugated to their rule. There are also many citizens of your own country who regularly say "nuke the arabs" - how do these ideologies differ? Both seek the utter destruction of the other for no greater a crime than existing.

The question you quote also notes that Israel and the US have interfered in the Middle East so much that the people there view them as the source of ALL their problems. This of course is not so - but the US has consistently interfered in affairs which DO NOT CONCERN THEM. For instance the US supported Iraq in the Iran/Iraq war - gave weapons and technology to Sadam Hussein.

The US did nothing when Israel declared war on Lebanon - indeed Israel did nothing but bomb seven hells out of Lebanon, they didn't even get the soldier that was kidnapped and started the whole war back. Is it so hard to understand that many in the Middle East view this as Israel just wantonly destroying a country - and using the kidnap as an excuse to do this? Right or wrong, that is what people there think. Perhaps instead of 'dealing with them' you should leave them alone and let them deal with themselves, instead of continually stirring up trouble.

Ok, in the author did write "... each of these breakdowns of social order appears to have been engineered either by the United States or by Israel..." The keyword is "engineered", which has a WHOLELOTTA IMPLICATIONS and probably couldn't be proven even 100 years from now when the pertinent documents will be de-classified. Some documents probably will never be de-classified (for historians to evaluate and ponder), My point is that the author did not support his thesis with evidence - but then he couldn't anyway on this forum - even if he had it (and he obviously doesn't). This is not a PhD dissertation (and nor could it credibly be) and you're not on the faculty either...it's just someone speculating aloud on Yahoo and like it or not America is pretty staunchly into that whole "Free Speech" and "Freedom of the Press" thing...
