Ok, so I do downloaded 24 songs from itunes. But they won't go straight to my ipod. Before I downloaded those 24 songs it automatically transferred the songs to my ipod easily. But now its not. I've read other peoples questions and answers and others say to click "sync ipod" but its grey everytime I try. It was working fine! Yes I did go to prefrences to check if I checked mark where it said " after the song has been downloaded transfer the song automatically to ipod". Me and my dad have been trying to figure this out over this month. Please if you have gone through this please help me.

click ctrl+a to select all the items in your library and then drag them onto the little picture of your ipod and they will transfer to it.
they transferred automatically before becuz you had synched the library to your ipod, which is bad becuz when you do that you replace every song on your ipod with the songs on your library. so instead of synching, you need to put the songs on manually.
