To had loved and lost or to never to had loved?

To have loved at all is to experience one of the most exquisite factors of life.
To have never loved at all is to miss out on the chance to be more than yourself because you think of something or someone other than yourself.
Sure the pain is immense and seemingly insurmountable in the face of loss, but the beauty of real love is that while the object of love may be beyond our reach, the capacity to love remains.

Definitely to have loved and lost. I've never loved anyone romantically, but I sure have had (and still have) friendship love. If that would be the only love I ever know, at least I can say I've loved and been loved.
