Every man should seek to know what Sath-Chith-Ananda (Being-Awareness-Bliss) means. Only then can he realize his true self. Due to the delusion caused by the phenomenal world, man regards Sath-Chith-Ananda as distinct from himself. This feeling arises from his attachment to the body. As long as man identities himself with the body and his physical attributes, he will be in quest of Sath-Chith-Ananda. When a man has discovered the true nature of the "I", he will not go after any worldly object. He will realize that he is verily the embodiment of Sath-Chith-Ananda. -

Man Should seek out to know and do the ways of God.
(Ecc 12:13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

Human essence.
'Nature engenders nature, and nature only, in its reproduction and in its life. The rose brings forth more roses, never anything ‘unnatural’ or ‘unrose-like’. The human being creates humanity, but with this difference: what is human can at the same time be either ‘human’ or ‘inhuman’. The results of human action range from creations which fill our hearts and souls with lasting strength and delight, to crimes whose shame no atonement can wipe off the face of the earth.'

God! Whether he exists or not? If he does exist then what are our duties towards him if there are any? what are his traits? and so on...
I think that knowing God affects the way you view life on Earth, and potentially the after-life. and the decisions that you make in life
That's true even of people that don't believe in God
It affects everything else in life. and it is, in my view, the single most important thing to know

The understanding that he and all beings and all things are part of a greater whole and that what he does to one, he does to all. To love unconditionally, to think universally and to act as if everything matters.
