Man...tragic. He was a musical genius. There is no way I can pick one favorite JB song. He was 'the hardest working man in show business' and gave so many there start in music. Bootsy Collins was his bass player at age 19 (later with Pfunk, etc). Clyde Stubelfield (the 'funky drummer') who can now be heard on Michael Feldman's "What Do You Know?" on Public Radio...rest in peace godfather. I'm glad I was able to see you live once before you left this mortal coil.
