do you have a microsoft computer? if you do, microsoft and apple are enemies and refuse to make any of their products work together. it took me a while to figure it out (i have a microsoft computer.) first, if you havent alredy ripped your music to the computer, pop in the cd and a box should appear. at the top is a bar that says 'library, rip, burn, sync' hit rip and it puts the cd into your computer. to get your music to your ipod, u must download itunes. then youll have to connect your ipod to the computer and and box will appear with itunes and your playlists...all that jazz. at the top left corner of the box is "file". under that is 'import file'. i think i did it the hard way, but it takes you to your microsoft songs and you gotta download one song at a time. thankfully, it does it automaticly after a while.
Hope this helps!

u just download the ipod apple software go to apple.com if u havent already. if have already downloaded that then all u need to do is put the cd into ur computer when ur copmuter detects it then u can import the song that u want by clicking the box buy the track number of the song and then in the upper right hand corner there will be a icon that says import once uve clicked on it wait for ur song to b imported.when its finished clicks and drap each song on at a time to the side of ur screen menu(on the left side)to the part that says 'library'(its towards the top) once its in your library make sure ur ipod is plugged in and drag tha song from the library to the place on the menu that says ur ipod(somewhere in the middle) then go back and do that for the rest of ur songs. and yes the battery is very good if u charge for about hour u should b able to listen all day(5-6hrs)

If you have Windows Media Player - you can copy songs to your hard drive and then import them into iTunes. Copying them into iTunes directly can take FOREVER. (I tried that first and it took over an hour for one song.)
