Switch off at the wall, undo the screws along the back top and lift the front cover up and forward to remove. Look for a black plastic cut out behind the thermostat, with a coin sized disc in it, press the little button in the centre, it should give a click noise. Refit cover and switch on. Heater should heat again overnight. (Depending on the model there may be screws on the front lower edge as well)
DA I wish you would stop being a cheeky, smartassed, abusive, conceited, ignorant, insulting sod, I notice that most of your replies demean other answerers. You seem to have a personality problem, and hold a grudge against most other people who give answers. Go see an anger management consultant. If you had any brains you would know that there is only one answer to the question, and we both got it correct, in fact when I first started my reply your answer was not there anyway. There's no way I would bother to copy your answer, I've got better things to do. I ignored your last abusive comments to me when your double answer was misleading, and your head swelled because you mistakenly got a 'Best Answer' , BIG DEAL!! . I'm not here to compete with you or anyone else, just to help people where I can. What are you anway?? You have a different title every answer. One day its Approved Electrician, next electrician, then you suddenly become a Gorgi gas fitter, then it's a heating engineer, then a NICEIC supervisor, even a Scottish Power Meter Fitter!! Could you not hold down one job? You know what they say 'Jack of all Trades-- Master of None'

With the wall switch off, remove the front coner, ( 3 screws along the top), behind the thermostat you will see, mounted on it's side at the back, a round black plastic plate with a wire attached each end and a green button in the centre, push the green re-set button then refit the cover and switch on it will work on the next power up period,

Its more likely to be a fusible link that has melted or the element has gone.
