If your TV has only an RF connector and not even Composite video (that yellow connector), then it is time to buy a new TV!

The DVR has a yellow connector but it is probably Output not input. If it is Input, then check how on the DVD you can change Input sources.

The problem is that the DVD output is protected by Macrovision so any device with recording capabilities (PVR, VCR, etc.) will block it. So, even if you can input the signal through the PVR, you may not be able to see much.

You can buy a "composite video -to-RF" converter, but the quality will be rather low.

You can try but it may not work. my tv is the same way and i have a modulator that i can connect three devices. you can connect the dvd using the component cables (red, white, yellow) to the modulator then using the coax cable you can connect the modulator to the tv.
