There are no concesions for parking on Boxing Day on the red route, although only Met Police, Met police traffic wardens or Met PCSO can enforce the red route, so you're a bit safer than if it were Local Authority wardens. Beware though, as there are many yellow lines in central London and the L.A. wardens will no doubt be out enforcing these, although they will more than likely be sunday regs as it is not a "working day" which is the benchmark that covers yellow lines (not double yellow).
Always best to drive around and try to find a parking attendant and ask their advice, but make sure you get his number, as if you do get a ticket you'll have to quote the time, location and number of attendant who gave the information on your appeal).
It's worth remembering that Westminster Council will clamp your vehicle fairly soon after ticketing it, so my advice is not to risk it.
Masterpark car parks are offering a £5 parking deal over christmas, maybe cheaper to try them out : http://www.westminster.gov.uk/parking/masterpark/xmaspromo.cfm

In Knightsbridge area, the Single Yellow Line is not free, every other part of Central London SYL is free today.Make sure you check for the time plates in resident bays, disable bays as all these types of bays are never free.Park on Meter bay or SYL and it's definately free.If all these are full by the time u get to central London, park on motorcycle bay. It's free on Sundays and Bank Holiday.

You need to check to be sure but many parking restrictions don't apply because it's a Bank Holiday
