It's OK to not like interracial relationships for yourself, but you should not judge someone who is in one, their relationship is their own choice. I never expected to marry anyone outside of my race, but I met my husband who is Arab and I am white and we fell in love.

Stacey, I've never felt that society was trying to impose upon me in that manner. I have been called redneck when I admitted I don't find black women sexually attractive, and I just laughed. I do not dislike black people; I've worked alongside them, shared with them, partied with them. I consider myself no better than a black person because I'm white, and I'm quite certain there are better people than I who happen to be black. I just don't find black women interesting in a sexual way, although Beyonce is a very beautiful woman. I don't apologize for it, and I'm quite sure Beyonce has all the male attention she wants or needs without me! You need not apologize for choosing whom to date. The whole point is to build comforting relationships, and how can you do that with men you ain't comfortable with?

Their is nothing wrong with that...I feel the same way. Its not that I have a problem with any other race, its just that I am not attracted to them. If one day I find my self head over heals in love with some one of another race then yes I would feel different, but so far in my life I have found that I am just not attracted to them.

No one in society is trying to encorage anyone to date outside of their race. Everyone is free to date those people they are the most attracted to. In fact, dating outside of your race is still met with disdain by most of society in the US.

It's your prerogative to date red green or blue! Date who or what you feel comfortable with. The law is only in place to make sure no matter who or what you date your treated fairly.

Your personal preference is yours to keep. People use location, wealth, education, age, physical beauty, etc to discriminate as well. How you set your parameters is your business, but you may need to apply a little flexibility to each of these.
