Why is society trying to impose interracial relationships on people?

If you say you don’t date outside your race you are called a red neck, racist, ect(like these men would care, they would try to sleep with me regardless if that was true about me). Doesn’t anybody date inside there race anymore? Why is it wrong that I prefer and feel my comfortable with men of my background?

I don't think the asker is trying to be racist, but merely stating that she has nothing in common with people who comes from different backgrounds. Say she grew up in a household where they only listen to country music. Why would she want to go out with a headbanger or rap guy? Not the same upbringing. Same for dating people outside her race. If she has nothing in common and no attraction, that is her business. She doesn't have to be pushed into dating anyone because of what other people think.

You should do whatever you personally feel most comfortable with, but surely you can see that saying you wouldn't consider dating someone of a different skin colour to yourself sounds pretty racist even if you don't actually mean it to. Yes, of course people date still inside their own race but most date outside of it as well or at least consider it as an option.

It is not wrong to want to date people of your own background or ethnicity because you feel more comfortable sharing the same culture.

But if you do date a person outside of your race, people have no right to criticize you because it is your preference.

Personally I am vietnamese and I would LOVE to find a decent Vietnamese man to marry, but if I find one that is not vietnamese then that is fine too.

However; there are agendas of ALL KINDS when it comes to race and dating.
Try to avoid them all.
