♥ ♥maybe he feels you can deal with things on your own, you have either "trained" him to believe that or he was raised that way..so tell him what you need and be very plain about it ... if his parents "pick " on you and you want him to hug you and he wont well then go and hug him..that will tell you something about his upbringing...you are lucky that you realize he loves you, he just needs some encouragement..♥ ♥

He says he wants to change, but, given what you just told me, he will never change. He is not a man, he is a immature boy in a man's body. If I was you, I would pack my stuff up and seperate from him. Until he finds a backbone and more of the strength to help out, he will always be like this. And, the fact that he does not seems to mind the fact that his friend's come over and make you feel uncomfortable in our own home indicates that he could care less of what happens to you. He seems to cater his friends more then you and how you feel.
I think he is the type of guy who probably would not mind if you "whore" yourself to his friends, because, that is what it sounds like to me. If he wants a stripper wife, he should have married just that: a stripper.
This is not a good environment. Take you and your son and leave. Tell a good couselor (*or a lawyer, if it gets that far) that you do not feel safe and that your husband knowingly accepts the fact that his friends are making advances at you. Trust me, this is grounds for a divorce and to get csutody of your son. What is he going to wait for? One of his friends to rape you and hurt you?
GET OUT, GET OUT NOW, TAKE YOUR SON AND DO NOT LOOK BACK! HE LOVES HIMSELF AND HIS FRIENDS-SCREW YOU AND HIS SON, THAT IS HOW HE IS!!!
Please, take heed to this.

awww. I feel for you. I know what your saying. I don't feel that security element with my husband either. But, I do think he would tell his friend off if he were hitting on me. Your husband sounds like he's just so sure that you won't do anything or that his friend is harmless. And, he may be but to you he intimidates you and makes you uncomfortable. It's time for your husband to man up and be an example for your son as a good role model of a husband for his wife . Hope you get some happiness.

Settling. That is all you are doing. A man that loves his wife, doesn't behave in such a manner. You made a mistake. Think about it......
