Did anyone get a Christmas Bonus from their job? I don't even think companies do this anymore. Most give turkey or ham sometimes.

I work for the Govt. and my boss took us all to lunch. They gave us a lil time off as well. I'm grateful because I get little things like that year round when I do a good job!

My company didn't give a bonus, nor did they give the employees any kind of gifts at all.

No bonus, no food, no nothing! I even had to work today 4 am to noon. It wasn't easy finding a babysitter for my two kids in x-mas. I think the ppl with older kids or no kids should have had to work, instead of the ones with small children. I have a 2 almost 3 year old and a newborn the other girl that worked this morning has a 4 year old & we were the ones scheduled.. HMMM..

I have three jobs. I got a small bonus from one of my boss' (have been there 14 years and received one each year). I did not from the other two. All three are currently part-time jobs.

My brother is a printer with 7 years on the job he got $500.00 ! Private owned company.
Me I work for goverment ...no bonus !
My other brother works for aprivate comapny no bonus and his company is closing 12/31/2006 for good

Yes... they still give money bonuses, for example... my company gave all the full time employees a bonus and promised the temps a bonus but didn't follow through. So I'm royally pissed, at least if you know you aren't getting one it doesn't hurt as much to count on it. SO **** CHRISTMAS BONUSES!

Yes the company I work for gave us 35.00 American Express gift cards. It isn't alot of money compared to what some people get, but I am happy that the company made an effort.

My boss gave us a Christmas dinner to a nice restaurant and a $50 gift certificate to a day spa.

I get a safety bonus ever quarter if I don,t have any accident,s and the one at the end of the year is more they give you extra for ever year you work there

Im in the army, we dont get bonus's..... we get time off, and other freebies during the year. I agree I dont think civilian companies do bonus's anymore.
