I've never had one talk. Hiss, growl, and snort, but no taking.

Maybe you should get rid of your imaginary possum.

I remember a friend of mine found a mom that had been hit by a car and the baby possum was walking around. She took it home and carried it every where with her in a purse like it would be when its in its mom's pouch. As for the food I'm not positive but I think she fed it kitten formula out of a bottle. When it got older she let it start to go outside and eventually it found a mate and went along its way. Good luck!!

Try a girl possum! Boys are too mean & difficult.I know because i have tried to keep male possums before.
We had a girl possum named Geraldine & she was very sweet. She would sit in your lap & let you pet her & she would lick your face.
They are easy to feed,as they will eat anything, but her fave food was bananas. She was so cute sitting there with the banana in her hand, just eating away just like a person would!
I miss her so bad so I'm gonna cry now!

First of all It spell it wrong. Opossum is the correct way to spell it. Second they should be in the wild because that is there habit. Last opossums are cowardly animal that do not bite.

Also, to Kooneyedellie opossums are immune to rabies and snake bites. They can't get rabies or give rabies. Do your research.

u are a idiot for even owning a possum. they carry rabies and EPM. if he bit u then u should get him tested for rabies(they chop off his head and send it to a lab to get tested) or go to ur doctor and get rabies shots. which u will get 12-15 shots in ur belly(around the belly button).
