i am going on a trip we are flying. what is the amount restriction for hairspray, toothpaste, ect.

we are flying with american airlines. what is the restriction on toiletries?

The airlines don't set the restrictions, it's the government that does that, so the restrictions are the same for all airlines. The maximum is 3 oz. containers (and NO, you can't have a larger container that you've used up some of the product in). You also have to put everything into a 1-quart ziploc bag.

No aerosol or pressurized containers, only stuff like pump sprayers are allowed and no container can be larger than 3 ounces if you want to put it on your carry on baggage. There is no restriction for your checked baggage.....but maybe the aerosol or pressurized container. Have a good trip.

You can have up to 30 oz of liquid (plus anything you might need for a baby) and it must all be in a clear ziplock bag.
