Before Reagan-Republican-ecomics the purpose of government was to provide for the welfare of the public, now its sole purpose under Bush is to provide for the enrichment of giant corporations = welfare for the rich! All that $$ Reds are Wasting on War could be spent on healthcare, education, mass transit, saving the environment(national parks) research, welfare and plenty left over as with B.Clinton!

Reds do not oppose welfare. Welfare is for people down on there luck who need a hand until they can find their own way. Democrats use welfare as a way of buying votes. Stopping terrorism (the killing of Americans) and peace in the Middle East (cheap gas) are good things. All young liberals should go live in the middle east with a "Holy" non-bathing, goat eating Muslim family for six months and after being treated for parasites they should be allowed back into USA.

Republicans do not opposed welfare. They opposed the waste of welfare and want the money spent on those truly in need and not career recipients.
The goofy thing is if the blues got behind the war and supported it VS working to create more havoc, it would go much more smoothly, the terrorist would see they don't have a friend in the democrat party, and things would calm down much faster. So this war is prolonged by the democrats and their terrorist buddies that they support.

Man this is America, one of the blessings you have is the opportunity to oppose in an honest way anything you choose. (Like me, I would have opposed the short bus option in your town)
