Only if Iran is left unchecked and allowed to build a Nuclear Arsenal.
Short of that Happening, we'll more likely meet our demise thought some catastrophic natural occurring phenomenon such as tectonic shifting in a large enough scale to alter the environment or perhaps some asteroid collision large enough to create fatal tidal phenomenons or possibly a volcanic disturbance that creates an ash winter. Or perhaps we'll move closer to the sun and burn up, or maybe we'll move further from the sun and freeze.
I do know one thing. I'm going to live my life as happy and as joyous as I can. and I'm going to fart in the general direction of the next person that mentions man made global warming.
You do realize that when government regulates CO2 emitions you will be limited to the amount of breaths you can take?

Kind of hard not to think that way when we see daily proof that mankind is self destructive. I see a lack of vision and accountability. War, global warming, and depleting the earth's resources with little investment in other sources of energy.
we are on suicide watch but the people with the power/money just do not seem to care about the legacy we leave.

We kill each other over things such as race, religion and land. Now we also kill each other for disrespect and material things. We have and continue to poison the planet. We keep coming up with different weapons and method of destruction, poisons and diseases. Mankind is and has always been it's own worst enemy. No one and/or nothing has to destroy us. We are doing that all by ourselves.

Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species. Your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you and neither does your penchant to breed beyond your planet's ability to sustain you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.
