They start anytime from Jan 3rd to Jan 29th...every school is different.

Generally speaking, most colleges and universities begin their Fall quarter or semester sometime between January 2 to 25. Each school determines their own calendar, which is why one school might begin on January 2, while another one doesn't start until January 8.

In India it usually starts between July and september.
But in US,UK etc it starts two time first in January and second time in September.
