It is ok that my other friends don't even call me or give some presents. I prayed and asked for a Xmas present is " the man of my love". I have not got it yet. Oh, I keep moving on ....

Presents can be a hug, smile, meaningful words. I don't mean it just a material thing.

First of all;
I am blessed with the fact that I woke up and did not feel ill (terminal disease).
Second;
I was able to get dressed and am going to my sister's house for dinner, along with my son. We have not been able to do this for almost 10 years!
Third;
I have alot of "Creature Comforts", such as a roof & walls, running water, TV, Cable, Internet. Five years ago I was living on the streets and suffering every day as to where I would eat and/or sleep.
Christmas IS about Christ and if you choose to believe in Him, He will give you your true heart's desire.
Mine was to be able to live without working (BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR! Now I can barely fend for myself, and I have an UNCURABLE disease!); and that my family would be re-united!
I have gotten BOTH of those prayers.
I'm STILL a "Happy Camper" BECAUSE a little bit of good is better than a whole lot of so-so.!

Hon,I am so sorry about hearing your parents not celebrating Christmas with you.I had lost both of my parents as well.My dad in 1998 and my mother in 2004 but you have to remember your parents are with you today and throughout the years.
My older brothers don't even call,write or visit me on Christmas or any other holiday because their stubborness is ruining their lives.I tried to make admends with them but I stop trying this year.
Although I have new family( my in laws) I am happy to spend my holidays with them but it is hard not spending it with my actual family.

My own tradition is I light a candle every Christmas Eve in rememberance of my parents.It gives me great comfort.
The spirit of Christmas is not giving or receiving gifts.Christmas is celebrating the life our savior.Unlike any other baby, the one born that night in Bethlehem was unique in all of history. He was not created by a human father and mother. He had a heavenly pre-existence (John 1:1-3, 14). He is God, the Son—Creator of the universe (Philippians 2:5-11). This is why Christmas is called the incarnation, a word which means “in the flesh.” In the birth of Jesus, the eternal, all-powerful and all-knowing Creator came to earth in the flesh.

.Help out at a church or a community center,nursing home or soup kitchen.If you can make 1 person smile, that is all you need.
Merry Christmas to you

Xmas is not about getting presents. If you get some fine, if not you will live the sun will come up in the morning. Just count your blessings with what you have. I am sure that their are plenty out there that have far less that you.

Oh, yes, I get tons of "token" gifts of appreciation from my customers at Christmas. They vary from cash in a card, to gift cards, tins of goodies, candles, grab bags of assorted cheerful stuff. It is so fun and heartwarming, I just love it, you know "Thank You" is a truly magical phrase. These small gifts do not change my life, but they sure do change my day. God Bless to everyone!!
