see i like to make movies with Windows Movie Maker 7, And i made a video for my science project,BUT!!!!!! can my cd burner burn movies/videos to a dvd-rom?

no for two reasons: 1. a cd burner can only burn to CDs, you would need a DVD burner to burn to DVDs. 2. dvd-roms are only for commercial use, you would need a DVD-R to burn to.

You won't be able to burn a DVD-ROM but you could try making a VCD. It's like a DVD and can be used on most modern DVD players but it can be burned using a standard CD-R on a CD burner. The only catch is that it can't store as much information as normal DVDs.

There's a simple walk-though on About.com http://desktopvideo.about.com/od/audio/l/bl_create_vcds.htm - but there's more information out there. All you need do is search for "creating a VCD" and you should find a way of burning one.

You need a dvd writable optical drive with dvd burning software to burn a dvd.

The short answer is no, it can't.
You need a DVD burner to do that.

ok try this pass to the nero website and touch them and ask for the nero clean gadget(im guessing that some archives interior the nero software are turning out to be broken) & (be constructive to tell them the right version you have)the gadget will completly eliminate(broken archives) nero out of your registry then reinstall the utility(nero) I even have long gone by this technique and it enables
