Over the course of little more than a decade, the armies of France under his command fought almost every European power, often simultaneously, and acquired control of most of continental Europe by conquest or alliance. The disastrous invasion of Russia in 1812 marked a turning point. Following the Russian campaign and the defeat at Leipzig in October 1813, the Allies invaded France, forcing Napoleon to abdicate in April 1814

On his eastern front he was defeated by the Russian army, which employed the tactic of burning all supplies as they retreated back as far as Moscow. They allowed the Russian winter to do most of the work for them. Napoleon had to retreat because he ran out of supplies. His army was more straved to death than defeated by the Russian Army in the East.
In the West He was defeated by the British army at the battle of Waterlo which sealed his fate as ruler of France.

If you are talking about Waterloo, it was the British army and the Prusian army. The British, commanded by Wellington, were in a bad situation at 5:00 PM.
Like in the Western movies, the Prusians arrived just in time to save the British
