I think I have very long legs and a short torso, just taking a little poll. If you are 5'10 or 5'11, what length of pants do you wear?

I am 5'10" and I wear a 31" inseam.
I usually buy 32" pants and have them altered.
To measure your inseam, the foolproof way is to take a pair of pants that fit, make sure they are right at your waist comfortably, and reach the top of your heal on your shoes. If not, pin them.
Take the pants off and measure the inseam.
dress pants should cut in slightly at the front over the top of your shoes, and reach the top of your heal in the back.

judging by height is not a good way to measure your inseam. I am two inches shorter than my dad, and wear longer pants than he does. as somebody else mentioned, measure a pair of your favorite current pants from the crotch to the ankle. that's your inseam.

my brother is around 6'0 and he wears a length of 36 so maybe around there.
