Water (cancer) and Earth (taurus) get along perfectly. Almost a need for each other. They both can be moody and they both love a fine home. Sitting at home watching a video or the tv is great fun for both of them, as long as they can do it together. They will enjoy getting out every now and again to prove to the world that they arent hermits.

The downside, sometimes a cancer can be manipulative and the taurus, stubborn. If they learn to talk to each other, they can solve any crisis that rears its head in a relationship. Just because there is an immediately ease with the other, please dont take either for granted. They both need to know that they are cared for and loved.

So, Cancer and Taurus compatibility, permanent committed relationship, or just casual?
I'm a Pisces (water sign) and I have been with my Taurus (earth sign) for 26+ years, through thick and thin, and yes, we don't always agree with each other, but through it all, we have a basis of love and trust.

Now Cancer, you are a water sign too, and your with a Taurus
earth sign, together you make mud, but don't disdain mud, it
has many useful properties, and can be used for foundational purposes.
Cancer the crab, you sometimes are a bit forgetful on recalling important dates, especially in your private life, but you eventually level out, you don't make friends easily, you are most probably introverted, so you hold negative emotions inside of you a bit too long.
You can be nice as a fresh daisy on an early spring morning or
be more stubborn than a mule.
You don't respond well to let-downs and disappointments, and you
hate to wait for services to come your way.

Your Taurus, is as sweet as she wants to be, but if she thinks she is right, she will become immutable, refusing any kind of new adjustment to her attitude.
This can work to your disfavor, if both of you become adamant on the same subject on any given time, it may cause friction.
But on the other hand, if your relationship is built on a foundation of love and trust, you and she will be able to navigate though
all the marsh, moss, bog and swamp gas that appears in your path.
The road of life has occasional rough patches, and its at these
points of stress that you need to love and trust each other the most.
