I would be very, very cautious of using drivers not signed by Microsoft. they have not been tested and can cause your system to become unstable requiring the operating system to be re-installed.

USB support under Win 98 is horrible, we couldn't get even half the peripherals to function in the lab when we were Beta testing it.
