I'm referring to those that talk about the sanctity of marriage while having gone through several divorces, those that ban drug use while using it themselves and steal while making laws against stealing.

This is not reserved for one party but all of them are guilty of it. Why do we allow such a lifestyle for politicians? If they made such mistakes and bad judgement in any other occupation they would be unemployed.

We shouldn't, but 'we' do. Ted Keneddy has held power for how long? Drunk driving, manslaughter, and numerous complaints of sexual misconduct. This fine specimen is a permanent member of the congress' Ethics Committee.

Un fortunately he is not alone, but what's to be done when the populous re-elects these crooks over and over and over. It seems that corruption is fine as long as those monthly checks keep coming in. Don't seal the border...the dems want to recruit more voters. Illegal campaign funds, bribes, adultery, molestation, security leaks, and the hits just keep coming. Anyone who would become a politician annot be wortha damn. The very nature of the job corrupts. Trading votes to help their own projects wether they approve of the other plan or no. The best thing that could happen is the dissolution of the of the party systen and cut social spending to 20% instead of over 50% of the federal budget. All welfare does is buy votes, as dous corporate taxe breaks, and subsudies. Cut these and the world changes.

What human beings advise via it somewhat is congress legislating the ethical codes of a particular team which isn't consultant of the inhabitants. they should not be legislating christian, or muslim, or jewish morality (think of it may be relaxing to stay below Sharia regulation? Me neither, so i do no longer desire all and assorted forcing their morality on me). of course there are oftentimes common aspects wherein all of us agree on regulations which difficulty morality (homicide, robbery, etc.). i think of Obama pronounced it terrific, whilst he pronounced, and that i'm paraphrasing, If congress passes a regulation, it could have a foundation this is common via human beings of all religions and people who haven't any faith in any respect, no longer basically via participants of one particular faith.

Drugs are a heath and safety not morality issue.

We are all human and fall because of our weakness. If you learn and become stronger because of it is the point. If you have never fallen how can you tell some one how to pick them selves up.

I know is stupid. George Allen, a conservative Republican preaching on family values is divorced. Newt Gringich has been married three times and cheated on his wife! McCain cheated on his first wife and got divorced. Now he is married to his second wife. It is all hypocrisy, doens't matter if they're Republican or Democrats.

We should not tolerate it. We should not tolerated anyone legislating morality at all. But least of all from people who don't follow the rules they would propose.
