Isn't your cat eating it?

The cat will clean itself -- not so much luck with the sofa, however. If you still want to bathe the cat, make sure you use cat shampoo, not human shampoo, as human shampoo can have chemicals in it that will be bad for cats to lick off their fur.

Not sure about the sofa. Yuck. Good luck!

the sofa may be a hopeless case, you may consider a funeral for it. red wine stains in the best of conditions is next to impossible to remove, mix it with the acid and other contents of the stomach...forget it...sorry.
