My Guitar is a Les Paul Standard triple AAA flame top. I have been using a fender deville and I can't get a strong sound and thick tone. I am looking for a small amp or combo amp that really gives power and is portable? Please provide me with some recomendations. The music I play has soaring sustaining solos and low thick chord rhythms.

A lot of purists would disagree, but you can buy a didital
effects box for little money and then impedance match to the input of any true blue amp/speaker system you want....as long as you have the power that you want. cheaper and more flexible this way. Look up a few of the digital effects boxes.
Their inexpensive, portable, fun and you can play with different
sounds until youfind the sounds you like to work with. Then
you can seek out those sounds through analog equipment
if you so desire.
