Okay, I can't seem to find a good answer for this...
This might be TMI, I am warning you now...
I am 27w6d pregnant. I have been having some good tightness in my belly for a while and was even in the hospital a few weeks ago with contractions. (no dialation) They stopped for a while, and they have been coming back the last few weeks.
Today I was standing a lot for a choir concert and later on I spotted a bit. I didn't worry too much about it. It stopped. I thought it was just from standing. Now I am having horrible back pains, discharge has changed a bit, and now diahrea (sp?) has started. I was just looking up what I could do to help the diahrea and saw it was a labor sign... could it be? With all the other symptoms I am kind of wondering now... but my husband has had some diahrea today as well... so is it mild food poisoning...
what should I do?

Ask your husband if he has morning sickness. If not it is food poisoning.

The tightness you feel in your belly is probably braxton hicks which is mild contractions that prepare your body for labor. It's normal and usually starts around six months of pregnancy and can happen several times a day. The diarrhea could be a sign of mild food poisoning and also a sign of labor. The spotting, backpain and discharge definetely sounds like labor signs. If it gets worse you should go to the ER.

I would just wait out for a little while. Diarhrea can be a sign of labor, but the true sign is either timeable contractions or breakage of water. Try and eat only whats on the brat diet (bananas, applesause, rice and toast and see how that works and drink plenty of fluids. False labor pains will go away with mild exercise, so you might want to try and take a walk, if your still not running to the bathroom, that is. Try and be patient. I wish you luck and congratulations on the baby!!

The signs you have are quite worrisome. I could see that there is some problems going on. Keep your self relaxed and do not exert an effort. I would advise you to see your doctor as soon as possible, could it be a premature labor, food poisoning or whatever - you need to be extra careful so rush to your doctor for you and your baby's safety.

yes you might be right but not semen your vagina mught be sensative, try this out and im not trying to be sick, stick your index finger inside your vagina, if you start comming on to that pain again then its probably that your vagina is sensatative, but with condoms your protected, so if you have a rubber penis toy or pencil covered in plastic and put it into your vagina if the first one hurts and second doesn't then you do have a sensative vagina and should consult a doctor
