Multiple opportunities to maximize potential means multiple purposes in life.
We were'nt put here for any "one" thing, but for the sum total of our accomplishments which can range from very small to world changing depending on how far you go in life.
Remember "It's a wonderful life"?
It was all about the people he touched and how his just "Being there" changed so many lives for the better.
Also, your purpose will discover you. The question is will you be ready?

Your life is what you make it to be- no more, no less. Everyone has gifts; your purpose is to find what yours are and learn to make the most of them. It's mostly an internal journey- finding yourself, rather than letting others tell you who and what you should be. Accept that you are a unique person, and begin the trip.
The measurement of your success is simple. Are you proud of who you are and what you have done with your life? Is the world just a tiny bit better for your having been here?

I believe there is a purpose to life. It is something that is discovered within yourself. It is something that needs to be searched for. Trying different things and getting to know what you want helps to find it.
It took me a long time to find my purpose. I am still finding the exact route it will take me. I even fought going into the field. Somehow I still ended up there. It is filled with potential and opportunities.

We all have a same purpose in lives, which is spiritual growth.
An acorn has potential to be a big, tall tree. All babies born to this earth is like the acorn. We all can be a great spirit, great mind. Most of us don't think about this, follow their physical needs, then wither and die in regrets(and physical pain, if you ever saw an old man dying). It's like acorns fall on the ground just to be rotten and disappear. Would you let your spirit wither and disappear? Or look inside of you, discover light of your spirit, and water the seed of life to blossom - it's your choice.

I believe we do.
I think G_d puts us here for a reason, I never complaint about life even if I am having a bad day or so forth.
Through the years, I have helped my friends not to get into drugs,
not to get an abortion (she now has 4 kids and happily married)
deal with depression (all different people), to be happy and feel
comfortable in their own skin.
My job on this planet is to help people and guide them into the right path. I try to be as helpful as possible and to always be there
when I am in need. It sadden me when people commit suicide, because the way I see it, it would've been prevented if there was that someone near by.
What do you think?

Yes- We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, we have an eternal relationship with Him (also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We are not these bodies, IE; race, color religion, nationality, job, senses, intelligence. Our purpose is to reconnect with our Maker. This world is called Maya(illusion) and is temporary and full of misery. The quickest and easiest way to get out of illusion and out of all suffering is to chant the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from suffering and illusion.go to krishnaculture. for complete details. also stephen-knapp. e-books there on the Key to real Happiness.

Actually I do believe that we have a purpose.
I also believe that in order to be happy it is necessary that you actively pursue that purpose.
Somewhere deep inside you there is a burning passion to do something. Paint, write be of service to others or whatever. You know what it is usually but it's going against everything your parents or your present peer group want and/or stand for.
It's up to you.
I assure you however that having purpose gives your life meaning and therefore fulfillment.
Good Luck.

Some folks do, most folks don't. Most people are just chair moisteners until they blow taps for them. If you want to have a purpose in life it's up to you to decide what it shall be. If not, that's okay too. If you want a purpose it's a small matter to pick one and live it.

When God created us we were just as he is. It was the act of disobedience in the garden that separated us from god.
The purpose of man was to live and serve God just as He would have us to.
That was the reason for God sending His only begotten Son (Jesus) as a sacrifice for our sin.
God, being a Holy and just God, cannot look upon sin. God loved us so much He offered His own, only begotten Son to wash us in His own blood from our sins, for the blood of the animals and the birds was not a sufficient sacrifice to cover our sins.
When Jesus was crucified He who knew no sin became sins for us all that we can OBTAIN, eternal life.
Now the relationship can be restored as it was in the beginning by and though the blood of Jesus Christ by asking Him to forgive us of our sins and walking in obedience to Him.
To the Atheist, The Agnostic, The Unbeliever, The Skeptic, and The Critic's, your opinion does not change one dot or tittle of God's truth. Everything will be and will happen, JUST LIKE HE SAID!!!.
