I walk around and meet inner city bums, I give them a piece of paper and a pen and ask them to write anything they would like. I compile around 200-500 bum stories/writings from various cities, I put in my own passages between bum entries and I make a book.

Second idea, I live off of $1 a day for a year and write about my experience. I keep my job, I get ride of all my unnecessary expenses and try to save all of my income for the year except for $365 (a little less than one weeks pay). This idea was inspired by the estimate that around half the world's population lives off of less than a dollar a day.

Last idea, a fictional story about a young boy named Gary. On his 11th birthday, young Gary Putter discovers the life he never knew he had, the life of a wizard. Gary attends the famous Analwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to start his 7 year long wizard education. On his way to becoming a wizard Gary overcomes various exciting obstacles...

I dont think anyone will read the third idea, it sounds too fake and extreme. You would have to make it more real, i mean c'mon a boy finding out he's a wizard, then attending a wizard school for 7 years?? What's next you're going to tell me he has a scar on his arm from a death spell that didnt occur because his pets loved him? That idea is completely bogus and no one will read it in the whole world

I won't steal your ideas, but displaying them like this is not safe :)
The 2-d idea seems really interesting. It is also more thought-provoking for the reader (one of the main qualities of a good book).
Now give me the 10 points so that you can close the question and diminish the chances of the ideas being stolen (just kidding). Merry Christmas and good luck!

I like #2.

Because #2....would also cover #1....
as you yourself would be living in poverty
and you would no longer degrade homeless
people....most of whom are veterans....by
calling them 'bums'.

I'd start by learning more about the language you choose to use...I imagine that you would learn a lot about humanity if you would talk to "bums" -- you might learn that they are just people.
