I think that bad things happen to everyone, but we tend to notice it more when they happen to 'good' people & we think that the 'bad' people just got what they deserved.

Check out my board name and you will see that I agree with this. I wont give a tale of woo and no one would, or does, believe that everything that has happened to me over the last nine years has actually happened. I think of it as the "Job Syndrome". If indeed the end times are here, God would continuously test the lives and spirits of those He claims as His own. There is plenty of evil flying around to get the job done. I don't know when or how it will end. I get a bit of a rest and then caboone, something else happens. I am a very quiet person that spends most of the time at home. I have a tendency to speak out when I see a injustice and that has lead to a great deal of it. I am tired, I can tell you that--very, very, tired. What I tell myself that, the fact that these things happen isn't an indication of who I am. What counts is how I handle it. I got this from a movie or something and I think it is very true. Some would think that everything has been brought on me because of something I am doing or not doing or God just doesn't like me. I know he loves me and would not test me so if He didn't. I have had temptations and horrors to face. Sometimes I think I have been sent out into the wilderness as Christ was. Not that I am a Christ like person, believe me I am not. But, I have always want to strive to be a fundamentally good person. Few people even understand this type of struggle within ones' self. So, by posting this, I am afraid I will get a backlash of abuse. Just the same, tragedy will touch everyone, some more than others. I am glad I have my faith in God to carry me through and help me to understand how, it is in His love for me, that I may experience so much heartache. One day, it will end and I will make it through.

No, bad things happen to all, maybe some good people don't look around to see that the same things happen as well to others.

Not always but it seems to really stick out when something happens out of the blue to someone who has been kind and loving all their lives.

Yes. My mom's the nicest person you could ever meet. She'd give you the shirt off her back and I've never seen anything good happen to her.
