The year was difficult for us- three friends died in a 6 month period, my father got sick, hubbind had 4 surgeries, I had a cancer removed- but this Christmas definitely wasn't the worst. We are grateful that we now have an apartment to call home; we can afford to eat; we have an oven to cook holiday dinners in now; we added two beautiful kitties to our family ( who turned 9 months old yesterday); and many other blessings too numerous to write.

For me personaly...in a worldly sense...yes... I have been alone befor and a long way from anyone I cared about but still had some contact and knew someone was out there... this year did not even get the card from the insurance agent...I am not a card sender so can not complain not getting any... but the agent always has sent the preprinted busines one at least. concidering I pay commercial rates I should get a card...come to think of it He has not even sent out the calander this year...

well, it depends on how you look at it.?

Mine was good and bad- why? because my hubby, and my 2 teens were here earlier this morning- but my eldest son is in Seattle WA- only a phone call.

Be thankful, but yes I do know what you mean.

PPl have gone crazy mad, and the shopping experience is soo crummy.. because ppl are like heathens, fighting over Christmas items, and acting up cursing in long lines, and cutting in lines... and so on..
people have no good manners, and no good home training.

The past three years have been H**L on me.....dealth with a nervous breakdown, a deployment of my dear husband overseas....lost my sister to drugs.....but Christmas is a Holy holiday.....and it's not because of it that these past few years have been bad.....but yeah, this year was really rough.....

im not sure. i mean i feel like im ok with the whole not a lot of presents because of my parents budget thing. but other than that its mostly i dont like 2006. at least i dont think i like it. its mostly ruined because my dreams didnt come true, and many other things. i hope 2007 is a better year because 7 is my favorite and lucky number.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

I DIDNT GET A THING. I HAVE 12 GRANDCHILDREN AND THEY ARE WAY-EAST AND WAY-SOUTH.THEN THERE ARE THEIR PARENTS TOO. I DONT EXPECT A THING . I SENT A CARD W/5.00 EACH THATS IT. THE IDEA IS NOT TO GO IN DEBT AND LET EMOTIONS LEAD THE WAY. I AM ALONE AND STAY CONTENT AND MENTALLY STRONG. W/ AN EXCELLENT CREDIT REPORT. SO XMAS IS JUST ANOTHER DAY LIKE EVERY DAY TO ME FULL OF SATISFACTION.
