Radiohead, because they are more talented, better songwriters, have more albums, and have progressed from another 90's-alt-rock band into a mesmorizing other-worldly experience. each album has its own distinctive tone (kida and amnesiac were recorded at the same time, so obviously they are pretty similar in tone). radiohead takes more risks. and they dont obsess over pleasing their fans like coldplay does, they do what they want.
but really, i actually do enjoy coldplay. but radiohead is just miles better. no contest

I really like both of these bands, but for me it is Radiohead. They have pushed themselves (and their listeners) to the limit artisically and sonically. Not to say Coldplay hasn't "grown" from album to album, but there are only two other bands I would compare to Radiohead's incredible and rapid artistic growth and influence...The Beatles and The Beach Boys. And that is damn good company to be in.

I'm not a big fan of either, but I'd have to say Coldplay.
