i am moving to a new school. i herd thAT school is really mean and u can'tmake friends. How do u try to make friends in that particular school?

We are moving too! Jan.1st. & that means my 14 yr. old has to start a new school,he is looking forward to it,just think of it as,not just a "new" experience,but a fun one;a challenge! Sometimes a challenge can be quite fun! Don't worry! You'll make plenty of friends! Just give it a little time,don't expect too much too soon!

well first of all you will always hear stuff about any new school that you are headed for no matter what there are rumors and some may be true but i highly doubt that you can't make friends at this particular school because yes there are people who you can't be friends with but no matter where you go you will always find at least one new friend to be made so take a deep breath and head in to school and make friends just like you would anywhere else

LOL...hey if ur school is not in Newark ur fine. They're the worst schools and i'm sure u don't live there. As for how 2 mak friends... just stay by urself 4 a while. Ppl are nice enough 2 talk 2 u and show u around.

well im not sure but if u ask sombody 2 help u find a room or where the lunch room is then ull make a friend or 2 then talk 2 ur locker buddys (if u have a locker) or ask a teacher 2 do a group project that is always good and u can show off how smart u r wat ever u dont give up if ur 13 like ull understand but if ur in like 12th good luck well good luck 4 real

Hey girl, I went to 2-3 schools every grade [we moved alot] and I learned just to be myself ,and the ones I would want for friends would always come to me first and want to be my friend, and Ive been in ok[nice] schools,and Ive been in very mean bad nieghborhood schools too, plus the boys never try to be mean because there trying to find a piece somewhere anyhow, you just got to tell them off, and the'll be fine. well Goodluck,youll be fine as long as you be yourself, you seem like a sweetheart from your other Q/A.

Don't try to make friends. Just be happy and cheerful all the time. Don't be mean to anyone. People will do their bestest best to be your friend!

I find it hard to think of one school where it is impossible to make friends,my advice is to just take everything as it comes,be yourself and let everything take it's course.
