I'm an 18 yr. old male, who for the past year have been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. I've turned into somewhat of a hypochondriac, but have gotten better about it.
I'm always cold it seems like.. and somehow just got this idea in my head that i have low blood pressure. I mean, I'm skinny but fit.
I've had a million tests done within the last year just to prove to me it's all anxiety. (complete blood counts, glucose tolerance tests, ekg, etc.. you name it.) So i've had my blood pressure checked by docs many times before, and they have told me nothing about it. I've always been told it's low, but it's good (I think he means low meaning it's not high blood pressure).
So am I just acting like a hypochondriac again since i get my blood pressure checked often? I get it checked at least twice a year for sports.

Being cold, especially at extremeties like the fingers, is more likely to be poor circulation than low blood pressure.
And if the tests keep saying you don't have a low blood pressure problem then accept it

Blood pressure measurements don't count for anything if you've been walking around. Ideally, you should be sitting down for at least 5 minutes or so. Blood pressure also can vary during the day, so it's best to get measurements from similar times during the day. No caffeine in the morning either. These measurements should be repeated on a few separate occasions. Some people get "white coat hypertension" when they go to the doctor's office because they are nervous. Probably blood pressure medicines wouldn't kill you. But you don't necessarily need blood pressure medicines if your blood pressure is only high while active. When doctors study the effects of high blood pressure, they study the effects of people who are diagnosed with it as described above. You are probably at no higher cardiac risk from your blood pressure.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

you are still young don't worry so much, if you checked your blood pressure several times and the result is always good then there is no need to worry. just old and very old people do because they don't have anything else to worry about.
I suffered from low blood pressure for a while because I had to face a very serious problem in my life, so I kept thinking that my blood pressure is low and I kept checking it and worry about it although the results were satisfying, and you know what!!! this is exhausting, if you get it checked twice a year for sports then put it behind your back and go on with your life and don't think about it. and for the record I'm 22 years old now

Blood pressure could change in a matter of hours or even minutes. Just in case you really want to monitor your blood pressure, there are portable digital devices that would give you a reading of your blood pressure in a push of a button. This will also prevent any panic or anxiety attacks just in case you're having one. I believe the normal reading should be 120/80. A reading of 110/70 would a lower but still average reading.

First thing you should do is ask your doctor if your blood pressure is normal. Being skinny doesn't mean your blood pressure has to be low. Or maybe your BP is not the problem here. You said you had CBC test, you should alaso ask your doctor the result of that test. MAYBE you are anemic, meaning you red blood cell count is low.

If you had it checked many times at the doctor it's probably normal. Buy a cuff if you want to keep track of it yourself. THey sell for under $40.
About bloodwork, get copies of all your bloodwork. Sometimes ypu may be high normal or low normal on something and then you'd know what to research more. Doctor's don't know everything. I found this out when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism

test your blood pressure yourself.. either buy a cuff and test it (like those electronic ones) or go to most any drug store or supermarket and use one of their machines..
get an average reading over time... one blood pressure reading by itself is not particularly significant......
i've always been like 97/68 or somewhere around there and been just fine.. though lately i put on a few pounds and now am like 123/78 and that sort of thing which is just fine also.....
normal blood pressure is defined as 120/80 but quite a wide varity of readings can be perfectly fine.....

Take the focus of yourself and your health. Get out daily for a walk, and some fresh air, exercise. Find yourself a hobby, something you enjoy doing, and make some friends. Also try Prayer, give thanks to God for your health Exercise daily , you will warm up. You can trust a Doctor to tell you if there is anything abnormal in your test.
