I have put recent pressure on my ex through the court system, filing for custody, contempt of court and other actions. They are being done in the best interests of the kids because of her behavior which is monitored by the court for future legal actions. Because of this she has not let me speak to the kids since Friday just to be vindictive. How do I deal with that?

You need to get a hold of your lawyer and the childrens lawyer and let them know what is going on. This will not be easy but, you cant "force" her to let you talk to the kids although all she is doing is making your case that much stronger against her. So, shes making her bed.....let her lay in it....I know this doesnt help much but, keep track of all of this and the more you have the quicker you will have your children with you and away from her...

I hate hearing about things like that. Children should never be used as a weapon in the war of the parents. What she is doing is hateful and just plain azz wrong!!! You need to get a GOOD lawyer cause you have rights too. I could see it if you didn't acknowledge your kids , didn't pay child-support or abuse them in some way, but if this is not the case then you should be able to see them. GET A LAWYER and take her sorry azz to court, maybe then you can have your family back. Remember in the end it's the kids that are being punished !

Talk with your attorney, keep a diary and list every attempt you make, and what the ex says and does each time. It takes time to sway a court the mothers are sometimes cruel, but in the long run if you stick to your guns, the courts will act.

Listen, I have been through the same thing. Be patient. Let the courts deal with it. What goes around comes around. When your kids are older and they realise what their mum did, just to be as you say, vindictive, they'll see her in a different light.

Hmmm, did you talk to the court about it ? Is there any family mebers on her side that you could talk to, maybe they could let you see them secretly, even though you shouldnt have trouble talking to them since they are yours. Well no matter how fusterated it gets you be sure not to be mean to your ex in anyway becuase this could result in lareger problems goodluck
