Any department store should have long johns or thermal underwear in stock. If they do not, then go to an outdoor store and check with them. Get both tops and bottoms. If you are still cold, then wear a sweater over your shirt. When outdoors, try two pair of sock, one over the other and choose the long legged woolen ones for the outer layer. Finally, where a hat outdoors. If you need to wear a turban, then have your temple contact a temple in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I know there are Sikh's living there so they will have the solution already worked out. Keep warm and enjoy the weather.

Hey, That isn't that bad, considering where I live, temperatures can get as cold as -30 (Celsius)! When it is really cold out I wear thermal long underwear on the top and bottom, my warmest breeches (since you don't have them then try Really thick sweat pants), multiple layers on top ( t-****, then hoodie, then coat, etc.), and most importantly, two layers of thick socks with toe warmers, and warm gloves with hand warmers. If you want to keep your gloves really warm, put them inside your coat before you tack up- you body heat will make them toasty! Have a warm ride! Camille

Many hunters actually wear pantyhose to keep their legs warm. Long johns might be better. Layers do help.

long johns will protect you from the cold. any clothing store with undergarments will sell them. you can also order premium long johns at places like llbean.com or landsend.com. they also sell jeans that are lined with flannel to keep you extra warm. you can also try women's leggings or tights if you are female.

You can buy leg warmers from any dance studio or a retail store that specializes in dancers uniforms.
