My partner and i have just got an xbox 360 and a ps2 for our christmas, we have got the best games ever but there is many a classic games out there from the original xbox and original ps2, does anyone know if you can play these original colsole games on the new ones? can u help solve our christmas day night puzzle! love doogal and ted XX

PS2 will play all PS1 games.
360 has limited backwards compatibility, mainly the big name titles (halo 2 etc)

the ps2 is backward compatible as standard but the xbox 360 needs a update which you can do from the main dashboard but not all xbox games work on the 360 only some you can find this out if you visit www.xbox.com they have a complete list happy christmas

I'm sure that you can. PS2 is really opened for classic games because the PS2 can play PS1 games. Now, 360? I think so.

i think ps1 games can be played on ps2.as for xbox360 there are certain games that can be played but not all.
