I bought an L.E.I jacket that said on the label that it could be machine washed and well I washed it and it got this incredible funk. I've tried everything to get the smell out ...air drying, febreeze, washing it again...but the smell still won't come out!! It has waterfoul feathers, goose down and I'm going crazy cause its a really pretty jacket and I just got it last month. PLEASE HELP!!

wash it again using frebreze in the wash.........
dry it on LOW in the dryer. use some scented dryer softener sheets. when the coat is completely dry, fluff it up in the dryer on the "air" setting.

Take it to the cleaners and specifically ask for the removal of that odor. I think this is your best option and it is not very costly.

Return it for an exchange. It's ruined.

You can try burning it. Be careful however of not burning it.
