when i download films thru torrents and play them using windows media or creative media source the picture is unwatchable but the audio is fine why?????

Because audio is a very small amount of data compared to a movie and 99% of the movies will be pirate copies that have poor quality.

You don't say which torrent you use, but as a guide I use minivova with utorrent to download and use either nero 7 or gom player to watch, I have found that a lot of the films I download won't play on media player, as an added bonus to burn to disc use nero 7 and you can watch on your home tv system on a normal home dvd player. cool huh?

i use realplayer to watch the downloads and i don`t have a problem. Just make sure after downloading realplayer click on tools and update.

Try this and if it does not sort out the problem. Post the question again but stating the file extension (the letters after the dot) of the files.

what do you mean unwatchable?? as in crapy picture or no picture at all??
