I got my gold Saturn for a wonderful deal, but I hate its color. How would I go about getting it repainted? Can they paint it another color besides gold, like maybe black, silver, red or even a closer color like that "burnt orange" color that many Saturns are?

You can get any color you want. Be sure that the shop doing the work is reputable and does good quality work. If your car is less than 2 years old, a new primer coat is not necessary. However, the best finish for automobiles is a top-coat and clear-coat system. Also make sure that as a minimum, a "wet sand" is done to remove the original clear-coat.

If you don't get it painted the same color the price is higher...door jams under hood and trunk all need to be done... some cheaper paint jobs are prepared with a chemical wash...light sanding...good paint jobs always include a new primer coat! Color can be anything you want provided you have the $.
