My new 4GB Nano Ipod took 2 hours to charge this morning from the computers USB port. It shows 'charged' on the screen when complete.
I would recommend downloading the itunes software before charging, to synchronise the player, this may speed up the charge time.

I also just got an ipod nano and it took about 30mins to fully charge.

I think they take about 4 hours to fully charge.

instructions say four hours but mine only took 30mins!!!

I got mine about 9AM this morning and it was done charging at 11AM..
so 2 hours...

depends on what type of iPod you're using.
my 8GB nano gets fully charged in about 2 hrs.
I dunno about the iPod video though.
